Are you looking for a magical way to start the holiday season? Theatre Oxford has just what you need – Elves, Santa, dragons, and of course, the Peppermint Bear.

Each performance begins with performances by the Elves Youth Ensemble.

“The Peppermint Bear and the Two-Headed Dragon” – the third in the Peppermint Bear series, which is different than the last two years, will follow.

The show begins at the North Pole where the elves are preparing for the holidays. There appears on the scene Joe-Jo, a two-headed dragon that has woken up after a 100-year nap. It seems they only eat every 100 years. It also seems they eat elves. Hilarity ensues, however, when their plan is to include Santa’s elves on their menu. Come see how the Elves, Peppermint Bear and Santa turn the tide and change the hearts of a dragon.

This is a family-friendly show.

The play will take place at 6 p.m. on Dec. 5 and 6 and at 2 and 6 p.m. on Dec. 7 at The Powerhouse.

Photo opportunities with Santa, Peppermint Bear and the Elves will follow each performance.

Come early and shop the Holiday Art Market in the Powerhouse Gallery before the show.

Join YAC and Theatre Oxford for a milk and cookies reception at 5 p.m. before the Dec. 5th show.

Tickets are $5 for children 12 and under, $10 for adult Theatre Oxford members; $12 for students and seniors; $15 for non-members and a family ticket for two adults and two children is available for $25.
