With heavy rain and thunderstorms expected on Halloween, several Oxford neighborhoods are welcoming trick-or-treaters on Wednesday evening.

The city does not officially change Halloween to a different date. However, individual neighborhoods can elect to host trick-or-treaters on any day.

The following neighborhoods will host trick-or-treating on Wednesday:

• Taylor Green
• Wellsgate
• Tuscan Hills
• Old Oaks
• Northpointe
• Rosemont
• Poppy cove
• Waterstone
• Southpointe
• Hedge Cove in Oxford Commons
• Yocona Ridge
• Cumberland Place
• Lakeway Gardens
• Windsor Falls
