An Oxford woman was arrested on stalking charges recently by the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office.
According to reports, deputies were dispatched at 11:43 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23 to Highway 6 East for a disturbance.

While on the scene, deputies learned the suspect had warrants for contempt of court.

Deputies made contact with Khristina Renee Hastings, 35, of Oxford. She was arrested on the outstanding warrants. In the meantime, deputies spoke with the alleged victim from the disturbance who said she wanted to press charges against Hastings.

Hastings was charged with cyberstalking/email threats and harassment. She was later charged with child endangerment but no further information was provided as to the reason.

She is awaiting a bond hearing.
