An Oxford man was arrested for burglary recently.

On June 9, deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a residential burglary on Post Oak Drive in Old Oaks of Oxford Subdivision.

The next day, deputies took a report of an attempted burglary on Turkey Oak Drive in Old Oaks Subdivision.

Robert Houston, 23, of Oxford was later identified as a suspect and was arrested for burglary. He was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $25,000 bond; however, a hold was placed on him for a probation violation.
