Burks assisted with Rogers’ auto burglary case helping the other agencies make the connection to the suspect.

Burks also assisted Pruitt with a case related to a stolen vehicle that was stolen in Miami. The vehicle had been missing for over a year.

Pruitt received a notification that a stolen vehicle was coming through the area. He coordinated with Burks, OPD patrol and the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office to locate the vehicle.

Burks located the vehicle Pruitt was tracking behind a restaurant through their collaborative coordination.
