Meridian Community College announced the appointment of LOU’s own Ryan Mounce as the new head coach for the men’s and women’s tennis teams.

Mounce takes over from TJ Carter, who has led the MCC tennis programs for the past four years.

Mounce played at Oxford High School and served as vice president of the Ole Miss Club team.

As an assistant coach at Lafayette High School under the mentorship of coach Debbie Swindol, Mounce has been instrumental in leading the Lafayette Commodores to four state championships.

In addition to his coaching roles, Mounce is an experienced tennis professional at the Oxford Park Commission and has dedicated time as a personal trainer and wellness center staff member at the YMCA.
