On Tuesday, Oxford Intermediate School announced the appointment of Chase Goolsby as its new principal.
Goolsby, currently serving as assistant principal at OIS, will be transitioning to this new leadership role on July 1. His dedication, experience, and deep understanding of the Oxford School District community uniquely position him to lead Oxford Intermediate School to continued success.
Goolsby’s journey within the Oxford School District shows his commitment to education and student welfare. He began his journey in the Oxford School District in 2009, teaching special education at Oxford High School. He then moved to assistant principal at Bramlett Elementary School for two years before being named assistant principal at OIS in 2022. His dedication to academic excellence and student achievement has earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues at OIS.
“I am so honored to accept the role and responsibility of being the principal at Oxford Intermediate School next year,” Goolsby said. “As I move from assistant principal to principal, I remain dedicated to nurturing a learning environment where every student can thrive. I want to continue this journey at OIS with an amazing staff where compassion guides our actions, excellence is our standard, and every individual’s potential is valued.”
