Ole Miss baseball takes winning streak on the road to Monroe, La.

Ole Miss (12-5) takes its six-game winning streak on the road this week, traveling to Monroe, La. for a midweek matchup against ULM (11-5).
Ethan Lee leads the Rebels in hitting with a .415 average, four home runs and five doubles. Jackson Ross leads the team with five home runs and 21 RBI while batting .396.
ULM currently holds a .314 batting average, ranking third in the Sun Belt Conference. The Warhawks have brought in 140 runs, 164 hits and 121 RBIs so far this season. Freshman outfield Easton Winfield leads for ULM with a .446 batting average, posting an impressive 25 hits, six home runs and 23 runs. Winfield ranks No. 25 in the nation and third in the conference in runs per game with 1.53.
Ole Miss right hander Riley Maddox is the projected starter for Tuesday’s game. Maddox is 1-1 on the season with a 5.27 ERA. He has struck out 13 batters and walked six.
ULM is scheduled to counter with Joey Cirelli, who is set to make his first start of the season. Cirelli has pitched 6.1 innings and struck out six batters, holding opposing batters to a .280 batting average.
