Niemeyer records 1,000th kill

Junior student athlete Lauren Niemeyer of Regents School of Oxford reached a milestone in her high school volley career when she recorded her 1,000th kill last week in a home game against New Albany. Niemeyer is the first volleyball player in Regents School history to reach 1,000 kills. She is pictured with her coaches and teammates following the team’s 3 sets to 1 win in the match. (Contributed)
