Magnolia Montessori School is reopening for the school year with new vacancies and new policies.

Magnolia Montessori School has vacancies for children ages 18 months to 12 years old. The non-profit school is opening a fourth classroom for the coming school year. They are also working hard to implement policies and practices to mitigate the risks of exposure to COVID-19 among the school community.

The necessity for health and safety protocols in reopening schools has caused MMS to implement various additional safety practices and policies that have been recommended by the CDC and MSDH. They are also providing distance learning options.

MMS has ample outdoor space surrounding the school building, with a Montessori approved curriculum that emphasizes and maximizes working outdoors.

They have work and play areas for each of the four available classrooms that are physically separated from each other. There are separate entrances to each room so that there is no contact between classes.

The school will serve healthy lunches and snacks with items that are grown in their school garden. The lunches and snacks will be prepared on-site daily for all children. The cost of food will be included in fees.
