Nadine Oswalt Franklin, 89, died Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at The Pinnacle in Greenville, Miss.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 1, 2020, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home in Oxford with Rev. Fish Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. The visitation will be held prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 10 a.m.

Born in Choctaw County, Miss., to the late Houston C. and Hilda Fultz Oswalt, Hilda moved to Greenville after graduating from high school. She retired from the Loan Office with Greenville Production Credit. Nadine was well known for her coconut pies. She enjoyed sharing time and drinking coffee with her friends, traveling, and flying on planes. Mrs. Franklin was a member of Community Church in Oxford.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Marc Franklin.
Mrs. Franklin is survived by two sons, Terry Franklin (fiancée-Susan), of Greenville and Rick Franklin (Sandy), of Pensacola, Fla.; a brother, Wayne Oswalt, of Grenada, Miss.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
