A single-car wreck on Highway 328 is under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

At approximately 4:23 p.m. on Oct. 8, a 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche that was being driven by Justin M. Woodard of Water Valley was traveling westbound on Highway 328 when the vehicle left the road and collided with a tree.

Woodard died as a result of the crash. This is a developing story.
