Wanda Faye Bankston Britt, 64, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2019, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Delay Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Britt was the widow of Mr. Wayne Thomas Britt. She was a member of the Oxford Church of Christ, a former girl scout and previously worked at Big Yank, Whirlpool, Millington Inn and Super 8. She found great joy in starting her day watching the news and enjoying her morning coffee. 

Survivors include three sons, Rodney Hanks, Jr. (Christina), of Memphis, Tenn., David Dorfman (Heather Winters), of Drummonds, Tenn., and Thomas E. Britt (Ashley), of Oxford, and nine grandchildren.
