Bob C. Orsburn, Sr., 84, passed away Monday, Aug, 12, 2019, at Oxford Health and Rehab in Oxford. Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Anchor Baptist Church (1009 MS-7, Water Valley, MS 38965). A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:30 a.m., also at Anchor Baptist Church. Interment will be at Anchor Cemetery. Bro. Gerald Shook will officiate. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Orsburn was born in Swifton, Ark. He worked to receive a Pharmacy degree from the University of Mississippi, and he dedicated 42 years of his life to working as a pharmacist. Mr. Orsburn was a dedicated and loving member at Anchor Baptist Church. Above all else, he was an amazing husband, father, and friend.

Mr. Orsburn is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Orsburn, of Oxford; two daughters, Lisa (David) Smith, of Belden, Miss., and Miriam Kripp, of Gore Springs, Miss.; one son, Bobby C. Orsburn, Jr., of Oxford; 5 granddaughters; and 6 great-grandchildren. Mr. Orsburn was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton Orsburn and Myrtle Orsburn; and one sister, Sue Elder.
