Michael “Mike” White, 54, passed away at his home in Abbeville, Miss., on July 19, 2019, following an illness with kidney disease and bladder cancer. 

Mike was born on November 14, 1964, in Forrest City, Ark., to his parents, Curtis Ray White and Brenda Joyce (Halbert) White. He graduated from Lakeside High School in Hot Springs, Ark., and attended community college in both Texas and Hot Springs.  

Mike loved riding his 2005 GoldWing trike with his friends from Chapter J of the GoldWing Road Riders Association.  His favorite activities were playing poker, fishing, hunting, and watching college and professional football.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda White, of Senatobia, Miss.; his brother; and other family, Curtis Wade, Lori, Zack, and Haley White, all of Hernando, Miss.  

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, July 26, 2019, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Oxford, Miss. A private burial will be held in Arkansas at a later date. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.
