Mrs. Willie Joanna Pegg Leslie, 93, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Miss.  The funeral service will be Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home in Oxford, with Rev. Chris DeGeorge and Rev. Jim Yates officiating.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Grenada, Miss.  Visitation will be Sunday prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Leslie was born in Saulsbury, Tenn. to the late Roger Clark and Mattie Sue Sparkman Pegg.  She was retired as the Ministry Assistant at the Baptist Associational Missions office and a former member of the Business Women’s Club and the Pilot Club.  Mrs. Leslie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tupelo and was formerly a member of First Baptist Church of Saltillo, Miss.  Her greatest joy was being with her loving family, but she also enjoyed reading and sewing.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Pegg Carroll and her brothers Marvin Pegg and R. C. Pegg.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur Horace Leslie of Saltillo; two daughters, Judith Elaine Leslie Roberts and her husband, Mack, of Foley, Ala. and Sue Ellen Leslie Kemp and her husband, Greg, of Saltillo; two sons, Arthur H. Leslie, II of Meridian, Miss. and Russell Douglas “Rusty” Leslie and his wife, Tisha, of Oxford; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
