Mr. Keith E. Harris, 94, passed away Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at Yalobusha General Nursing Home in Water Valley, Miss. He lived in Indiana most of his life and moved to Mississippi several years ago to be closer to his children. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Harris retired from Fruehauf Trailer Company in Fort Wayne, Ind., and was a farmer most of his life. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed getting together with the Bippus (Indiana) Lions Club at their annual whole-hog sausage making event. He attended Bethesda United Methodist Church and First Christian Church while living in Indiana. Mr. Harris was a veteran of World War II, serving overseas in the United States Army Air Force.

Mr. Harris leaves behind his wife of 71 years, Geneva Harris of Water Valley; two daughters, Marcia Hawkins of Water Valley, and Linda (Jesse) Wade of Abbeville, Miss.; one son, David Harris of Oxford, Miss.; 5 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his parents, Otto Harris and Zella Harris; one son, Kenneth Harris; and one daughter, Sharon Harris.
