Mrs. Andrea McRay, 72, died Friday, September 1, 2017, at her residence in Holly Springs, MS.

Born in Shelby County, Mrs. McRay lived in Holly Springs, MS, and the surrounding area most of her adult life. She was a general homemaker and was truly passionate about her work. She was an instrumental baker for the Redbirds and in the grand opening of AutoZone Park. She cherished the moments she was able to spend making memories with her family and friends.

Survivors include two daughters, Denise (Richard) German of Olive Branch; Vickie (Wesley) Smithey of Byhalia, MS; one son, Bobby McRay of St. Petersburg, FL; one sister, Nancy Thuman, nine grandchildren, Chris German; Justin German; Steven German; Jessica Whittington; Danielle Harris; Clayton Smithey; Rebecca McRay; Chelsea Houser; Kiefer McRay; and nine great-grandchildren.

Mrs. McRay was preceded in death by her husband Phillip McRay; two sons, Bob Alley and Gerry McRay; and father, Ernest Hays, and mother, Andie Hays.

Services for Mrs. McRay are incomplete at this time. Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch is in charge of the arrangements.
