Ben and Cathy Flemmons announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amanda Catherine Flemmons, to Nathaniel Dean Cook, son the late Lenny Cook and Scott and Angela Forsyth.

The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. on June 3, 2017 at Friendship Baptist Church in Water Valley.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late George Henry Flemmons and Helen Mae Walker Flemmons and Frances Keel Davis and the late John Neely Davis.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Bill and Lou Forsyth and Elaine Mercer and Mike Mercer.

There will be a co-ed, general wedding shower at 972 Highway 7 South from 2-4 p.m. on March 25 hosted by Best Man Ryan Watts.

The couple is registered at Belk, Walmart and the Pearly Peacock, Booth No. 29 inside Sugar Magnolia of Oxford.

After the wedding, the couple will live in Oxford while they both attend the University of Mississippi to earn degrees in psychology.
