Ole Miss signee Tae-Kion Reed was arrested in Lowndes County on Tuesday and charged with burglary, according to a report from WCBI-TV.
Reed, 19, is being held at the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center after being accused of breaking into a house Saturday. The Commercial Dispatch is reporting Reed is also being accused of stealing approximately 12 guns from the home.
An Ole Miss spokesman on Wednesday morning said facts on the matter are being gathered. The investigation is ongoing, according to the reports.
Reed, a lineman, played his high school ball at New Hope. Rated a three-star prospect by Scout.com and ESPN, the 6-foot-4, 298-pound Reed chose Ole Miss over Mississippi State on signing day by throwing an MSU cap off a table before donning an Ole Miss hat to indicate his selection.
