Bozart’s Gallery exhibit in Water Valley recognizes animal friends

Beginning this month, Bozarts Gallery in Water Valley will go to the dogs (and plenty of other pets too).
An opening reception was held on Friday night for “Heavy Petting” which features pet-inspired work from artists Pati D’Amico and Jack Gurner, among others.
““I am one of those people who judges other humans by the way they treat animals,” Gurner said in a press release. “This show gives us a chance to recognize our animal friends. And, it is nice to be able to do that through art.”
Part of the exhibition will feature a “Petting Wall” where visitors are encouraged to bring a photo, painting or drawing of their pet to be added to it.
“Heavy Petting” will be showing at the gallery until April 1.
Bozarts Gallery is open Fridays 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and by appointment by calling 662-473-2484.
