Young carolers from Bramlett Elementary brought holiday cheer to the Square this past week.

Erica Oliver, a kindergarten teacher at Bramlett says that the singing event is highly anticipated amongst the students in her class.

“The kids get so excited about it every year,” she said. “They think they’re stars.”

Donning Santa hats, the kindergarteners sang their way through holiday classics. Many parents were there in attendance to watch their children perform. Others on their way to work in the Square paused for a moment to watch the singing as well.

“We practice all week and they practice in music class to get ready,” Oliver added. “We do it every year, right before Christmas break, and I feel like only in Oxford is it so special.”
