*Updated* Pedestrian killed on Highway 6 was struck by 2 vehicles

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investing the death of a 21-year-old man Saturday night who was hit while walking on Highway 6.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, James Banks, 21, was walking eastbound on Highway 6 near County Road 317 when he was hit by two vehicles traveling east.
Banks, who lived in Oxford but was originally from Greenwood, was pronounced dead at the scene by Lafayette County Coroner Rocky Kennedy.
Accident reconstruction is being performed by MHP officials.
