OMAHA, Nebraska — Helen Raber Stasiak, 95, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at her daughter’s home in Omaha, Nebraska. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Coleman Funeral Home with the Rev. Chas Williams officiating. Interment will be in the Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 3 p.m. until service time at Coleman Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Penjamo, Guanajuato, Mexico, she was the daughter of missionaries. During her husband’s military career, she and her family lived in various places. She was the mayor of Enon, Ohio, while the family lived there. She enjoyed anything Ole Miss and the Kansas Jayhawks basketball team. An avid shopper, she collected many things. She was also a donor to the Salvation Army and Goodwill.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Raymond Richard Stasiak.
She is survived by daugthers Katherine Stasiak Hankins of Omaha, Nebraska, and Nancy Stasiak Carden of Coronado, California; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
