Joey Lauren Adams cleans up

OXFORD TOWN – A new webisode starring Oxford’s own Joey Lauren Adams will premiere Jan. 17 and shows the next level of advertising impact in shows. The show features four women actors that become animated after they enter into their super hero storylines fighting disasters with help from Clorox products. Charles J. Shields discusses Vonnegut

OXFORD TOWN – Author Charles J. Shields is making waves with fans of Kurt Vonnegut with his new biography, “And So it Goes: Kurt Vonnegut, A Life.” The book is the first and only complete life-story of Kurt Vonnegut, one of the most influential, controversial, and popular novelists of the 20th century. Shields will be at the Lafayette and Oxford Public Library on Friday at noon to discuss the work.
