Audience gives thumbs up to festival lineup

Ticket sales were slightly down for Friday’s paid Double Decker music but crowds were up on Saturday as crowd favorites such as Jimbo Mathus, Patterson Hood, Funky Meters and Mavis Staples took to the Caterpillar Main Stage. Chad Harris releases new EP; set for OLHS fundraiser Friday, April 6 

OXFORD TOWN – While the EP won’t officially be released until May, Oxford will get the first chance to enjoy native son Chad Harris’ new album “Burning Daylight” on Friday, April 6, at the Powerhouse Community Arts Center. ‘Triple Threat’ women set for Oxford Film Festival

OXFORD TOWN – Wearing several hats is what you do in the indie film industry, but for three filmmakers, taking on the script, the direction and the acting for their films makes them a triple threat.
