Oxford sweeps Yazoo City in 5A opener
Oxford baseball coach Chris Baughman made sure he praised his team after Saturday’s 9-4 win over Yazoo City at Edwin Moak Field. The Chargers, who beat the Indians 5-2 on Friday in the first game of the MHSAA Class 5A playoffs, may not have dog piled after their latest series win, but there was time to reflect and feel good about moving forward.
