    Oxford fuels film production

    OXFORD TOWN –YAC’s Operations Coordinator Beth Ziegenhorn has her pulse on the community this week and breaks down the upcoming YAC fundraiser to be held at Southside Gallery. The public is invited to join them this Saturday from 7-9 p.m. at the gallery for a reception for the upcoming movie “Where I Begin” which has begun filming in Oxford and the surrounding area.       Summer Sunset Series concludes this Sunday with the Germantown Symphony

        Art lovers to gather at the Powerhouse; Oxford arts displayed and ‘sampled’ at ‘Interaction’ event

        OXFORD TOWN — The Powerhouse is hosting its first annual art sampler called ‘Interaction’ on Saturday at 7 p.m. The event is hosted by Yoknapatawpha Arts Council, Ballet Oxford and the Oxford Songwriters Association. (March 2, 2010, Page 5)

          Community unites with Ole Miss

          OXFORD TOWN – Community members recently participated in the “Tag You’re It!” program with the help of Ole Miss art students. The mural created at the event will hang on the side of the Powerhouse as a beacon identifying the facility as an art center.  (February 24, 2010, Page 16)
