MHSAA considering new sites for football championships
JACKSON (AP) — Mississippi’s high school football championship games could be coming to a stadium — or university — near you.

BLOG: WATER VALLEY — For the second season in a row Water Valley’s march for its first state championship since 1990 came up short in the third round of the playoffs.

Blue Devils face balanced team in East Side Trojans
Water Valley’s playoff push for its first state title since 1990 won’t get any easier on Friday when the Blue Devils host East Side.

WATER VALLEY — Friday night was a satisfying night for the Water Valley football team on multiple levels.

WATER VALLEY — The Blue Devils prepared all week to shut down Leflore County’s reliable drop back passer Grant Simms.

Playoffs start for WV, LHS tonight; OHS needs to win
All three area football teams officially enter the must-win portion of their respective seasons tonight.
While the Lafayette Commodores and Water Valley Blue Devils open their playoff schedules hosting Leake Central and Laflore County, the Oxford Chargers close out their regular season with a win-or-go-home matchup against Clarksdale.
