OHS spoils Devils’ Senior Night with win

It was Senior Night for the Water Valley baseball team on Monday, and the Blue Devils were looking to end their home schedule on a high note. Unfortunately for Water Valley, Oxford had other ideas as the visiting Chargers won 4-1 at Blue Devil Stadium. (April 22, 2014, Page 8)

    Devils sweep Tigers, clinch region title

    The goal was simple for the Water Valley Blue Devils baseball team — win and clinch the Region 2-3A title. The Blue Devils had two opportunities to take care of business hosting a doubleheader against region foe Charleston at the Blue Devil Stadium Friday afternoon. Water Valley made it clear they didn’t want to wait for the second game, defeating the Tigers 11-0 in five innings. (April 14, 2014, Page 9)

          ‘Cats pounce on opportunities

          WATER VALLEY — The Wildcats made the most of their limited opportunities and the Blue Devils didn’t.
