Disability groups want to hear from you

Members of three disability rights groups are hoping to gain Oxford’s input  Thursday as to the needs and concerns of people with all types of disabilities.
A community “listening event” will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the auditorium of the Oxford Convention Center. The Disability Partners’ Community Forums is being co-hosted by the Disability Rights Mississippi; the University of Southern Mississippi’s Institute for Disability Studies; and the Mississippi Council on Developmental Disabilities. All three agencies are funded by the federal Administration on Developmental Disabilities. (August 10, 2010, Page 1)
