Big game keeps policy busy

Local police made 75 arrests this weekend after the population of Oxford doubled when the Rebels played the University of Texas. One of the arrests was that of a former Ole Miss student who was tackled by officers when he ran onto the field during halftime in his boxers, at one point mooning the crowd. (September 17, 2012, Page 1A)

    Final home football game keeps law enforcement busy

      Bank robber suspect nabbed

      Officers from several local law enforcement agencies responded to the Mississippi Federal Credit Union Bank on West Jackson Avenue on Wednesday to offer assistant to the Oxford Police Department in its pursuit of an alleged bank robber that resulted in the arrest of a Marks man. (July 1, 2010, Page 1A)
