    Reception at UM Museum launches Jaudon’s ‘White’ exhibit

    OXFORD TOWN – In what is being billed as a “very important” art exhibition, the University of Mississippi Museum is featuring nationally recognized artist Valerie Jaudon’s “White” exhibit. Jaudon’s work can be viewed through July 2 at the museum.       Six events get grants from Tourism Council

        ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ set for Ford Center

        OXFORD TOWN – A new and imaginative performance of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” plays at the University of Mississippi’s Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, Nov. 12, at 8 p.m. Page 5 in this week’s issue of Oxford Town has all the details of the Shakespearean play that’s headed to Oxford.           Exhibit: ‘The space between us’

          OXFORD TOWN – The Jersey City-based artist Amy Wilson is slated to visit Oxford at the opening reception for her exhibit at the University Museum on Tuesday, March 23, from 5-7 p.m. Her exhibit is entitled “The space between us.” Oxford Town writer Alexander McAdams gets the scoop on Wilson’s art and reception straight from the curator of the University Museum William Andrews. (March 11, 2010, Page 10)
