OXFORD TOWN – Thacker Mountain Radio returns to Off Square Books this week and welcomes back one of the show’s co-founders, singer-songwriter Caroline Herring. Parrish’s to host Star & Micey

Thacker Mountain Radio with Jimmy McDonough
Jimmy McDonough will be on Thacker Mountain Radio reading his new book Tammy Wynette, broadcasted live from Off Square Books at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 11. Stories of home
Local filmmakers share Mississippi tales in this weekend’s Oxford Film Festival. Sarah Freeland Simonson took part in creating a film about the tradition of “dinner on the grounds.” Ferriday Mansel McClatchy worked on a short documentary about a tortilla-making family in New Albany, and Mary Warner worked with Joe York to expand her documentary on Thacker Mountain Radio.
