When the Ole Miss Rebels left Hoover, Ala., last week after a 1-2 showing in the Southeastern Conference Tournament, the coaches and players — at least publicly —believed their resume was strong enough to get them into the NCAA Tournament.
Monday, their instincts were re-affirmed when Ole Miss saw its name appear on the Road to Omaha announcement show as a three-seed in the College Station (Texas) Regional. (May 29, 2012, Page 8)

Sophomore offensive left tackle Donald Hawkins, wide receiver Lance Ray and quarterback Ryan Mossakowski are just three reasons why the Rangers went 6-3 overall this year and were ranked in the top 5 nationally at one point this season. If the pressure surrounding the start of the Ole Miss football team this year was wearing on athletics director Pete Boone, he didn’t show it during his guest speaking engagement at the Rotary Club of Oxford on Tuesday afternoon. Boone was the featured speaker at the weekly lunch meeting held at the Oxford-University Club and his presentation to the members was well organized, informative and accomplished in a very positive manner.
