More spent on tidying up tennis courts

The Oxford Park Commission Board approved spending more than $15,000 to finish a sidewalk near the tennis courts as part of an expansion project to add 12 new courts to the John Leslie Courts at the FNC Tennis Center next to the Oxford Activity Center. (November 19, 2013, Page 3)

    OPC asks county to help build tennis courts

    If county officials agree to help, the Oxford Park Commission is hoping to build the largest community tennis facility in Mississippi.

    OPC Director Rob Boyd asked the Lafayette County Board of Supervisors to consider chipping in $1.5 million with the city of Oxford to expand the John Leslie Tennis Facility from 12 to 24 courts. (September 8, 2010, Page 1)
