Oxford native following his dream
A passionate dream to broadcast daily sports topics to the masses has finally come true for one Oxford native. Richard Cross, who played quarterback for Oxford High and then graduated from Ole Miss, has been trying to realize his love for sports talk radio for several years and finally gotten the opportunity to showcase his skills with a new show.
Sports Talk with Richard Cross debuted Monday from The Library in Oxford to a listening audience that is now in four different areas of Mississippi.
The show can currently be heard in Tupelo, Brookhaven/Hazlehurst and in the Delta through a station based in Greenwood. (August 6, 2010, Page 8A)
