Hospital, Oxford to share cost of reducing noise

The city of Oxford and Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi will work together to make sure residents living along Bickerstaff Lane are not negatively impacted by the sounds of traffic on the new Belk Boulevard extension being built near the hospital’s new regional facility.

    Planners deny hospital’s sound plan

    The Oxford Planning Commission ruled Monday that a wood fence is not sufficient enough to protect the citizens living in Bickerstaff Condominiums from the noise produced by the construction of the new Baptist hospital and Belk Boulevard extended. (April 15, 2014, Page 1)
