City to review arts festival

The Oxford Tourism Council plans to sit down in the near future and evaluate Oxford’s popular Double Decker Arts Festival and brainstorm ways to make it better and see if there any changes to be made, like going back to a one-day event or keep it a two-day event. During a meeting Wednesday, the council reported this year’s festival ended with a $22,000 profit. Also during the meeting, it was reported tax numbers continue to rise. (June 21, 2012, Page 1)
