      Health expo for those 50+ on Thursday

      RSVP, Baptist Memorial Hospital and other senior organizations have come together to hold the 50+ Health and Wellness Expo from 8 a.m. to noon on Thursday at the Oxford Conference Center. Featured guests include Jackson chef Luis Bruno and IRS investigator Ashley Allen who do a self-defense demonstration. Entertainment will be provided by jazz/blues singer Effie Burt. (April 11, 2012, Page 3)

          County to launch public transit service

          Lafayette County and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program have teamed up to offer county residents who are more than 65 years old or disabled, free transportation to grocery stores, doctor’s appointments, etc. The program begins Tuesday.             TRIAD offers free services for elderly in the community

              Helms hired as lifestyle coordinator
