Rocket 88 to get ‘happy’ at Proud Larry’s
OXFORD TOWN – Even though the gigs are a couple of weeks away, Oxford Town deems Rocket 88 cover-worthy (but maybe just a little too early for print) for its upcoming Happy Hour shows on the Oxford Square. Arguably Oxford’s favorite Americana, rock, blues, country gospel (you-name-it) band, Jamie and Rosamond Posey and Rocket 88 are set for two Happy Hour shows at Proud Larry’s — Thursday, July 21 and Thursday, July 28 — and here’s an additional OT cover designed to pump it up. Oxford’s Rosamond Posey balances law and music
OXFORD TOWN – Local attorney and musician Rosamond Posey and The Posey Family Band will be rocking at Proud Larry’s on Wednesday evenings from 6-8 for the next two weeks where crawfish and rock ‘n’ roll will rule the night. Business suits, cowboy boots and center stages – Posey is, without a doubt, one of the hardest working (and playing) women in Oxford.
