City prepared for 1st home game

With new parking meters and less parking available on campus at the University of Mississippi, and with thousands of visitors in town, people are being encouraged to use the shuttles and buses around town to get to campus to watch the game which starts at 3 p.m. (September 12, 2014, Page 1A)

      Big game keeps policy busy

      Local police made 75 arrests this weekend after the population of Oxford doubled when the Rebels played the University of Texas. One of the arrests was that of a former Ole Miss student who was tackled by officers when he ran onto the field during halftime in his boxers, at one point mooning the crowd. (September 17, 2012, Page 1A)
