Lots of local citizens ‘stepping up to the plate’

Nearly two dozen have qualified to run for local and area positions this year through the first third of January, an increase over local elections four years ago. It’s good to see the involvement, and we thank those willing to run for public office. (January 11, 2015, Page 4A)

      OPC makes positive first impression

      Want to get involved with local government and helping the community? As News Editor Jonathan Scott writes, you don’t have to wait until you’re old enough to vote.
