    First lady’s obesity campaign not political

    Politics comes into play when people like and approve the president and first lady.       Two-party system not shining these days

      Statesmen, authors and others have warned, through the years, of the problems our country’s two-party political system could cause.         Another proposal from left field – Amendment 28

        Local columnist T.J. Ray suggests that we propose and pass a 28th amendment that would make the president a non-partisan executive after he or she is elected, taking the split that parties and their differences have caused in our country. After all, Ray says, doesn’t the president represent everyone? (February 1, 2011, Page 4)
