City officials end Park Drive project

The Park Drive improvement project has been canceled by Oxford officials and about $300,000 in federal transportation funds will be returned, city officials said Wednesday afternoon. (August 4, 2011, Page 2)

    No easy solution to Park Dr. project

    Residents of Park Drive were divided on whether new sidewalks, bike lanes or curb and gutter should be added to their street during a public hearing on Tuesday. The city has received federal funds for the project but can not move forward if they do not obtain easements – something several neighbors are reluctant to give. (August 3, 2011, Page 1)
