Former Oxford mayor Pat Lamar dies at 71
Former mayor Pat Lamar was Oxford’s first, and so far only female mayor. She was known for wanting to make Oxford beautiful and a thriving community for its citizens. Lamar lost her battle to cancer on Monday at the age of 71. (September 25, 2012, Page 1)
