Transit budget, bus services expand

The Oxford Board of Alderman voted to increase its share of the Oxford-University Transit budget by $40,000 for the 2012-13 fiscal year. The increase is partly due to two new routes and the building of a new bus depot on McElroy Drive.     Fall bus schedule begins Monday

      OUT moves transfer point

      The Square will no longer be the hub for the Oxford University Transit system after Aug. 15 when the new transfer point will be the old armory near University Avenue. The orange line was also discontinued but the blue line was extended to cover Thacker Loop and the Links. (July 14, 2011, Page 1)

        OUT board considers moving transfer site

              Transit changes planned in 2011

              Due to rising costs, the Oxford University Transit system will cut back hours on the red and blue route in October 2011 and in May will discontinue the orange route that currrently runs on Thacker Road and through the Links Apartments. (December 9, 2010, Page 1)

                Bus system prepars for students’ return

                  Bus service announces summer schedule

                  Beginning May 10, the Oxford University Transit public bus service will change several routes to accomodate what operators expect will be fewer riders this summer.                     Double Decker move changes parking, traffic routes
