Chargers blank Braves in opener
The Oxford Chargers got their 2013 tennis season off to a good start with a 7-0 win over Alcorn Central at Avent Park Tuesday. In boys singles, Quinn Elliott blanked Tayton Smith 6-0, 6-0, while Grace Ann Jones defeated Anna Bowling 6-0, 6-1 in girls singles.
