              Home court didn’t give West Point an advantage Thursday with the Oxford tennis team in town.

                  Chargers blank Braves in opener

                  The Oxford Chargers got their 2013 tennis season off to a good start with a 7-0 win over Alcorn Central at Avent Park Tuesday. In boys singles, Quinn Elliott blanked Tayton Smith 6-0, 6-0, while Grace Ann Jones defeated Anna Bowling 6-0, 6-1 in girls singles.
