Precautionary Boil Water Advisory Issued

The City of Oxford issued a precautionary boil water advisory for limited areas of West Oxford following a water main break near Highway 6 on Tuesday afternoon. This advisory was limited to areas west of the Jackson Avenue-Highway 6 interchange and south of Woodlawn Drive. (September 24, 2014, Page 1A, 3A)

    PSC hears rate plan

    The Mississippi Public Service Commission listened to city leaders Tuesday during a public hearing as to why a 6 percent rate raise for sewer and water services is necessary.
