OPC make preperations for summer

    Dist. 1 voting precinct moved

    The Lafayette County Board of Supervisors voted Monday to relocate the voting precinct from the former National Guard Armory to the Oxford Park Commission building. Voters should receive a new voter’s card in the mail the first week of May. (April 23, 2014, Page 1)

      New tennis courts need sod

      The new tennis courts at the FNC Tennis Facility are almost complete but lots of rain and bad weather have stalled the project. To help combat the dirt and dust from keeping the contractors from finishing the courts, the Oxford Park Commission voted to spend $7,500 to put sod in around the courts. (April 11, 2014, Page 2A)

                Oxford Park Commission offers free activity day

                The OPC is now offering a free activity day for children 1 to 5 on Friday’s from 10 a.m. to noon in the beginner level gymnastics room. Parents must have a photo ID from the Oxford Activity Center. (January 24, 2014, Page 1A)
